Quoted by the newspaper ‘The Gazette’ Kuwaiti source familiar with the Israeli government did not reveal his name saying that the U.S. informed Israel that it would send a huge aircraft carrier to the region in the next few days, an expression of seriousness and determination to maintain stability in Lebanon and the region.
The source, who maintained a Kuwaiti newspaper on condition, that the American envoys, “David Hill” and “Dennis Ross,” told the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and senior security officials in Israel this matter last night.
The radio quoted the Israeli public about the “Gazette” as saying that the United States has asked Israel’s commitment to strict neutrality on the issue of Lebanon even at the level of statements, and promised to do what is necessary to prevent deterioration of the situation.
