The NATO-Ukrainian Sea Breeze-2010 war games continue in the Black Sea off the port of Odessa.

The main aim of the drill that involves 15 Ukrainian, U.S. and Turkish warships is to rehearse joint anti-piracy efforts using paratroopers to destroy bases of conventional pirates and set up a pirate-free security zone, Ukrainian spokesman Volodymyr Bova has told reporters.

Representatives from Azerbaijan, Belgium, Germany, Greece, Georgia, Denmark, Moldova and Poland will take part in the Sea Breeze exercises running from July 12 through 23.
