“No place in US” to be safe if America attacks Iran

by TheTotalCollapse.com on April 3, 2012

Iran will retaliate for “any attack” the US launches against them, a senior Revolutionary Guards commander told the Iran Daily on Tuesday.

We will not only act in the boundaries of the Middle East and the Persian Gulf, no place in America will be safe from our attacks,” said Massoud Jazayeri.

But, he added, Iran would not be the first country to strike. The US and Israel say they do not exclude military action against Iran if Tehran does not give up its nuclear energy program.

The dispute over the program, which is seen by the US and Israel as a cover for developing nuclear weapons, has brought new international sanctions against Iran, provoking a stand-off in the Persian Gulf.

Iran insists its program is peaceful and is threatening block the Strait of Hormuz, which connects Gulf oil exporters to the Indian Ocean.

Washington has vowed to keep the Strait open.

I am damn sick of the US and Israel ratcheting up tension in the Middle East and particularly the Persian Gulf as if they have a right to do anything they want. They are not only destroying their chances of recovery from the GFC for which the US and Europe were responsible for plunging the world into; they are preventing the rest of the world from recovering.

It is not as simple as that and they know that the world is not their oyster. If the US and Israel think they can attack any country at will, the corollary is that any other country will also have the right to attack the US and Israel at will. These two countries are not as bullet proof as they think they are.

Do the rest of the world care that even talk of an attack on Iran will catapult oil prices and oil as everyone knows is more precious and more useful than gold.

Oil, thanks to the bastard Oil Barons and Oil Monopoly, is what makes the economic machinery of the world run.
