Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Wednesday urged the U.N. Security Council to take action over the rioting in Britain, arguing it was hypocritical in its reaction to such events.

Ahmadinejad, whose government is under international sanction for its controversial nuclear program and has been condemned by the Western countries such as Britain for its handling of protests and dissent, also called on British officials to listen to the demands of their people.

“The U.N. is silent. Human rights bodies are silent,” Ahmadinejad said on state radio following a Cabinet meeting. “If one percent of this happens in countries that oppose the West, they scream until they are hoarse.”

“Why is the Security Council silent?” he said, also questioning its willingness to take action directed at one of its five veto-wielding permanent members.

Iran’s nuclear file has been a fixture before the council, where the United States, Britain, China, Russia and France hold permanent seats. The other 10 spots rotate between other U.N. member states, and the council is the only body within the United Nations that can authorize any punitive measure, including military action, on countries.

Tehran is under several rounds of sanctions for its disputed nuclear program — one which the United States and its allies believe is aimed at developing nuclear weapons. Iran disputes that claim, saying the program is for peaceful purposes only, such as generating electricity.

Ahmadinejad’s comments appear to be a direct jab at Britain, which supported the opposition movement during postelection turmoil in 2009.

Iranian opposition members say scores were killed in heavy crackdowns by government forces and militia allied to Ahmadinejad, while hundreds more were either wounded or carted off to prison. The government has said 30 people were killed in the protests.

The unrest in Britain began Saturday after an initially peaceful protest over a police shooting in a London neighborhood turned violent. It has since spread to other cities in the country.

Iranian state media has seized on the rioting as an opportunity for payback, dubbing the violence there a “civil war.” Hardline lawmakers have urged London to allow an Iranian human rights delegation to monitor the situation in the country.

In comments directed at Britain’s leadership, including Prime Minister David Cameron, Ahmadinejad said the officials should “stand by their own people.”

“They should change their attitude, change their management and deal with their own people instead of intervening in others’ affairs,” he said, referring to Britain’s role in Afghanistan, Iraq and its participation in the NATO airstrikes on Libya.

“They were claiming that they are a role model and advocator of freedom, human rights and democracy, but what behavior do they apply in dealing with their own people,” said Ahmadinejad.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was also quoted by state radio on Wednesday calling on Britain’s government to listen to the demands of their people.

Ahmadinejad was heard on the radio asking: “What else should happen for the Security Council to react.”

His comments appear to be direct jabs at the country, which supported Iran’s opposition during postelection turmoil in 2009 that left scores wounded while hundreds more were carted off to prison.

Over the past days, overnight rioting has gripped the British capital, while looting has surfaced in other cities. The unrest began Saturday after an initially peaceful protest over a police shooting in a London neighborhood turned violent.

“This story is really about preventing parents from protecting their children from sexual predators – including the State.”

by Richard Evans
(henrymakow.com)

The International Planned Parenthood Federation are now advocating the “right” to consent to sex acts become a plank the platform of the United Nations “Rights of the Child” Treaty. The international abortion NGO released two documents to be used by child sex advocates as part of a media blitz, directing children of any age to “explore avenues of sexuality”, and directly attacking the protective role of the parents.

This UN council plans on punishing “violators and abusers of the rights of the child” as defined by UN tribunal.
http://www.un.org/News/Press/docs/2011/sc10319.doc.htm

Planned Parenthood, fronting for gay and pedophile NGO’s, want heterosexual values such as chastity and age of consent, ruled a violation of children’s “sexual rights.”

LifeNews/CFAM writes; “The sexual rights guide “Exclaim!” calls for a cornucopia of sexuality and gender protections and entitlements under the guise of international law.”

“Governments must respect, protect and fulfill all sexual rights for young people,” the publication states. The guide is designed to help young people become sex advocates.”

“Young people are sexual beings.” and “…All people under 18 should enjoy the full range of human rights, including sexual rights…”

It goes on to demand the removal of parental and spousal consent laws that prevent minors from “seeking reproductive health services” without parental knowledge and consent. The documents encourage children as young as ten to “become sexual rights advocates”.

This “Exclaim!” text is drawn from the “Basic Sexual Rights” manifesto of the “Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality,” headquartered in San Francisco. It refers to under-aged as sexually “disadvantaged.”

“The recognition by society that every person, partnered or unpartnered, has the right to the pursuit of a satisfying consensual sociosexual life free from political, legal or religious interference and that there need to be mechanisms in society where the opportunities of sociosexual activities are available to the following: disabled persons; chronically ill persons; those incarcerated in prisons, hospitals or institutions; those disadvantaged because of age…”

If you have any doubt they’re not referring minors and children, please watch The Kinsey Syndrome and see the Institute’s website

The Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality was founded as a satrap of the Kinsey Institute in the 1950′s. It trains ‘sex educators’ to prepare public school teachers to teach children contraception and homosexual/lesbian techniques and how to masturbate and use pornography.

Kinsey and his Institute aided an international network of pedophiles. One reason for the astounding immunity of such “child sexual rights advocates” is the covert support of highly placed perverts in government, including the blackmail of some very important men.

This story is really about preventing parents from protecting their children from sexual predators – including the State.

Meanwhile, last week California Governor Jerry Brown signed a bill that mandates “Gay History Lessons in Public Schools.”

What IPPF’s “Sex Rights for Children’ means is that a 12-year-old can get an abortion through Planned Parenthood without the parents knowledge or approval. It also affirms the child’s “right” to “gay” lessons on the tax payers dime at school. Finally, it affirms the “right” to consent to sexual “explorations” with anybody, regardless of age or gender “choice”.

Does a child’s :”rights” include opting out of sex classes promoting masturbation and bisexuality, or even the “gay” history curriculum in California?

No, it doesn’t. “Human Rights” is a euphemism for satanic social engineering and perversion.

The Atlantic – A lengthy report (PDF) released by the United Nations Friday argued that disconnecting individuals from the Internet is a violation of human rights and goes against international law. “The Special Rapporteur underscores the unique and transformative nature of the Internet not only to enable individuals to exercise their right to freedom of opinion and expression,” according to the report’s summary, “but also a range of other human rights, and to promote the progress of society as a whole.”

Released after the seventeenth session of the United Nations’ Human Rights Council, the report “on the promotion and protection of the right to freedom of opinion and expression” comes on a day when its message couldn’t be more important. It’s the same day,Wired‘s Threat Level blog points out, that “an Internet monitoring firm detected that two thirds of Syria’s Internet access has abruptly gone dark, in what is likely a government response to unrest in that country.”

The report’s authors speak to a wider issue that we’re currently facing, though; this isn’t just a problem in Syria. “[T]he recent wave of demonstrations in countries across the Middle East and North African region has shown the key role that the Internet can play in mobilizing the population to call for justice, equality, accountability and better respect for human rights,” the report notes. “As such, facilitating access to the Internet for all individuals, with as little restriction to online content as possible, should be a priority for all States.” Of course, many of the dictators and leaders across the Middle East region that the report highlights recognized the power of the Internet early — and attempted to cut it from their citizens’ lives.

But people, in most cases, found a way online. In Egypt, for example, we saw hundreds of individuals using old modems and telephone lines to route their traffic through a volunteer network around the globe. And we support them. A survey of 26 countries conducted by the BBC in March 2010 found that nearly four out of five people (79 percent, to be exact) believe that access to the Internet is a “fundamental human right.”

Some countries have taken things one step further. Estonia passed a law in 2000, for example, that declared access to the Internet a basic human right. In 2009, France followed. Legislators in Costa Rica, in 2010, reached a similar decision. In 2009, Finland, the report notes, “passed a decree … stating that every Internet connection needs to have a speed of at least one Megabit per second (broadband level).” There, should they need to, people will be able to organize even faster.

Richard Falk announced the figure during a press conference in the Jordanian capital city of Amman late on Monday, the Palestinian News Network reported on its website.

In his latest report, Falk noted that in 2010 alone, the Israeli army’s gunfire and shelling of the Gaza Strip claimed the lives of 17 children.

Israel has not responded to repeated calls by the UN Special Rapporteur for access to the occupied Palestinian territories.

Due to the prevailing security situation in Gaza, Falk was forced to cancel his visit to the Israeli-blockaded enclave — part of the mandate given to him by the Human Rights Council.

The United Nations says he will visit Gaza later in the year.

Since his appointment in May 2008, Falk has faced hindrances by the Israeli regime, which has refused to cooperate with the rapporteur in his field missions.

In mid-December 2008, Falk was denied entry into the occupied territories by Tel Aviv. He was detained, interrogated and subsequently deported.

The move occurred days before Tel Aviv launched a deadly onslaught against the populated coastal sliver on December 27. The 22-day offensive killed more than 1,400 Palestinians, mostly women and children, injured thousands of others, leveled hundreds of civilian homes and offices and devastated a great portion of the infrastructure in the impoverished territory.

Published: Mar. 18, 2011 – Common Dreams

The bombing of Libya will begin on or nearly to the day, of the eighth anniversary of the beginning of the destruction of Iraq, 19th March, in Europe. Libya too will be destroyed – its schools, education system, water, infrastructure, hospitals, municipal buildings. There will be numerous “tragic mistakes”, “collateral damage”, mothers, fathers, children, babies, grandparents, blind and deaf schools and on and on. And the wonders of the Roman remains and earlier, largely enduring and revered in all history’s turmoils as Iraq, the nation’s history – and humanity’s, again as Iraq and Afghanistan, will be gone, for ever.

The infrastructure will be destroyed. The embargo will remain in place, thus rebuilding will be impossible. Britain, France and the US., will decide the country needs “stabilising”, “help with reconstruction.” They will move in, secure the oil installations and oil fields, the Libyan people will be an incidental inconvenience and quickly become “the enemy”, “insurgents”, be shot, imprisoned, tortured, abused – and a US friendly puppet “government” will be installed.

The invaders will award their companies rebuilding contracts, the money – likely taken from Libya’s frozen assets without accounting – will vanish and the country will remain largely in ruins.

And the loudest cheerleaders for this, as Iraq, will be running round tv and radio stations in London, Europe and the US, then returning to their safe apartments and their UK/US/Europe paid tenures, in the knowledge that no bombs will be dropping on them. Their children will not be shaking uncontrollably and soiling themselves with terror at the sound of approaching planes.

And this Libyan “Shock and Awe”? Shame on France, shame on Britain and the US and a UN avowed: “… to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war.” Every shattered body, every child maimed or blown to bits, every widow, widower, orphan, will have their name of those countries, and the UN., written in their blood in their place of death.

And the public of these murderous, marauding Western ram raiders, will be told that we were bringing democracy, liberating Libya from a tyrant, from the “new Hitler”, the “Butcher of Bengazi.”

The countries who have ganged together these last days to overthrow a sovereign government have, again, arguably, conspired in Nuremberg’s: ” … supreme international crime, differing only from other war crimes in that it contains within itself the accumulated evil of the whole”, and yet again, plotted to overthrow a sovereign government, with a fig leaf of “legality” from an arm twisted UN. We have seen it all before.

Ironically, as I write, here in the UK., on the day Prime Minister Cameron is to make an announcement in Parliament on the proposed attack on Libya, it is Red Nose Day, founded in 1988, out of 1985′s Comic Relief – which came from a refugee camp in Sudan, which borders Libya – to raise money for the children in need, in Africa. This red nose day, we plan to bomb them.

In time, it will emerge, who was stirring, bribing, de-stabilizing – and likely few will be surprised at the findings. But by then, Libya will be long broken and its people, fleeing, displaced, distraught.

When it comes to dealing with the usual “liberators”, be careful what you wish for. In six months or so, most Libyans, whatever the failings of the last forty years rule, will be ruing the day.

He pledged to respond harshly to UN-sponsored attacks. “If the world is crazy, we will be crazy too,” he said.

The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has voted on a resolution authorising a no-fly zone over Libya and “all necessary measures” – code for military action – to protect civilians.

Ten of the council’s 15 members voted in favour of the resolution on Thursday, while Russia, China, Germany, India and Brazil abstained.

Despite choosing not to use its veto to block the resolution, China on Friday expressed serious concerns about imposing the no-fly zone.

“We oppose the use of military force in international relations, and have serious reservations about some of the content of the resolution,” Jiang Yu, a foreign ministry spokeswoman, said in a statement.

But no votes were recorded against the resolution, which was co-sponsored by France, Britain, Lebanon and the United States.

Under the no-fly zone, only military aircraft are forbidden to fly in Libyan airspace. It exempts commercial and humanitarian flights.

In Benghazi, the main opposition stronghold, a large crowd watching the vote on an outdoor TV projection burst into celebration and green and red fireworks filled the air.

Reporting from Benghazi, Al Jazeera’s Tony Birtley said the city had been given new buoyancy. “They can go back into this fight with renewed vigour, with renewed hope,” he said.

Reporting from the eastern city of Tobruk, Al Jazeera’s James Bays said the sound of gunfire rang out through the night on Thursday. “Guns were not being fired in anger, but in celebration,” he said.

“This is what they have been waiting for, they have been calling for a no-fly zone from the UN … people here are buoyed by the news.”

However, Bays added that it was “worth injecting a note of caution” into the current excitement, as Gaddafi’s troops were still standing firm.

The resolution came just a few hours after Muammar Gaddafi, the embattled Libyan leader, warned residents of Benghazi that his forces would show “no mercy” in an impending assault on the city.

“The matter has been decided … we are coming,” he said in a radio address on Thursday.

The Libyan leader called pro-democracy fighters in Benghazi “armed gangsters” and urged residents to attack them, saying: “You all go out and cleanse the city of Benghazi.

“We will track them down, and search for them, alley by alley, road by road … Massive waves of people will be crawling out to rescue the people of Benghazi, who are calling out for help, asking us to rescue them. We should come to their rescue.”

‘We will be crazy too’

In an interview broadcast just before the Security Council voted on the resolution, Gaddafi dismissed the body’s actions.

“The UN Security Council has no mandate. We don’t acknowledge their resolutions,” he told the Portuguese public Radiotelevisao Portuguesa.

By Agence France-Presse - Monday, February 21st, 2011 – A growing, more affluent population competing for ever scarcer resources could make for an “unrecognizable” world by 2050, researchers warned at a major US science conference Sunday.

The United Nations has predicted the global population will reach seven billion this year, and climb to nine billion by 2050, “with almost all of the growth occurring in poor countries, particularly Africa and South Asia,” said John Bongaarts of the non-profit Population Council.

To feed all those mouths, “we will need to produce as much food in the next 40 years as we have in the last 8,000,” said Jason Clay of the World Wildlife Fund at the annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).

“By 2050 we will not have a planet left that is recognizable” if current trends continue, Clay said.

The swelling population will exacerbate problems, such as resource depletion, said John Casterline, director of the Initiative in Population Research at Ohio State University.

But incomes are also expected to rise over the next 40 years — tripling globally and quintupling in developing nations — and add more strain to global food supplies.

People tend to move up the food chain as their incomes rise, consuming more meat than they might have when they made less money, the experts said.

It takes around seven pounds (3.4 kilograms) of grain to produce a pound of meat, and around three to four pounds of grain to produce a pound of cheese or eggs, experts told AFP.

“More people, more money, more consumption, but the same planet,” Clay told AFP, urging scientists and governments to start making changes now to how food is produced.

Population experts, meanwhile, called for more funding for family planning programs to help control the growth in the number of humans, especially in developing nations.

“For 20 years, there’s been very little investment in family planning, but there’s a return of interest now, partly because of the environmental factors like global warming and food prices,” said Bongaarts.

“We want to minimize population growth, and the only viable way to do that is through more effective family planning,” said Casterline.

Iran’s permanent representative to the United Nations says the United States has jeopardized its position as the world body’s “host country” by closing over 100 diplomatic bank accounts.

“The blocking of ambassador’s [bank] accounts pose an existential threat to the United Nations,” said Mohammad Khazaei Thursday, quoted by IRNA.

“The responsibility lies with the host country to fulfill its duties regarding this problem, otherwise the US government’s credibility and suitability as host [to the UN] would more than ever become questionable,” Khazaei added.

The Iranian diplomat made the remark in the wake of a decision by several banks in the US to close the accounts of many diplomatic missions at the UN, causing the ambassadors inconvenience and difficulty in finding new banking services.

As Washington toughens its reign over the banking and financial institutes in the country, JPMorgan Chase & Co., which holds many UN diplomatic accounts, decided to shut them down without any reason.

The Palestinian foreign minister says he will seek United Nations recognition for a Palestinian state in September and is currently lobbying for votes worldwide.

The move is part of the Palestinians’ so-called Plan B of pursuing an alternative to a negotiated peace deal while talks with Israel remain stalled. Riad Malki’s announcement Sunday followed Chile’s recognition of Palestine, making it the fifth South American country to do so recently.

While a majority for Palestine in the General Assembly seems possible, recognition by the Security Council — whose decisions are legally binding — would likely face an American veto.
